The RITC Friendship is designed to be slightly more elastic and faster than the Friendship 729 Super FX, and is therefore also a bit more dynamic. However, this is relative: Compared to modern rubbers, this classic from China is still inelastic, hard and not very powerful. Overall, the RITC Friendship is an easy-to-play all-round rubber with good speed reserves and, as usual, an effect-heavy orientation due to its tacky surface. It is excellent for blocking and counter-attacking, and the thicker sponge versions also provide good control for offensive play. It is also slightly better suited for topspin than the 729 Super FX. However, the main strength of the RITC Friendship 729 is the very flat and short undercut balls that are difficult for your opponent to return.
