The Helix Hybrid XH is the extra-hard version from our Helix Hybrid series, designed for anyone who wants to attack with maximum power, extreme speed and high precision. With an extra-hard sponge of 52.5 degrees and a slightly tacky surface, this rubber is just the thing for you if you want to capitalise on advanced technique with extreme responsiveness and precision.
What makes our Helix Hybrid special is the combination of the explosive sponge from the Helix Platinum series and a particularly grippy, slightly tacky rubber. Together, this creates a modern hybrid playing feel that brings together the best of both worlds – the powerful feedback of European Tensor rubbers and the control, spin and ball feel that characterise typical hybrid rubbers.
You’ll feel the difference straight away when you play. When playing close to the table, you’ll enjoy a secure and controlled feel with fantastic ball feel in close-to-the-table play, on returns and when initiating attacks. At the same time, the powerful sponge ensures explosive feedback and high ball speed when you’re on the attack or playing further away from the table.
The slightly tacky rubber surface provides better grip and helps you achieve more spin, a longer trajectory and a higher standard of play in your attacking shots. Thanks to the combination of grip and precision, it becomes easier to vary your play, apply pressure in opening rallies and control the pace in rallies.
